Screen Pressure Test
Check for LCD panel issues
Bottom lineOptional test: show a full-screen white image and press each corner very gently with a soft cloth. If dark spots or discoloration appear under light pressure, the LCD panel may have pressure damage. Never press hard—excess force can damage a healthy screen.
Display White Screen
Open a blank white page or image in fullscreen
Prepare Cloth
Use a clean, soft non-woven fabric or microfiber cloth
Gently Press Corners
Lightly press each corner of the screen with the cloth
Watch for Black Spots
See if black spots or discoloration appear while pressing
Test All Areas
Repeat for the edges and the center of the screen
Warning: This test is optional — skip it unless you suspect pressure damage. Press very gently; excessive pressure can damage the screen. If black spots appear easily, the LCD may have issues.
