WiFi & Bluetooth Test

Test wireless connectivity and signal strength

Bottom lineConnect to Wi-Fi next to the router (signal should be full), run a speed test on fast.com or speedtest.net, then pair a Bluetooth device in System Settings > Bluetooth and use it for a few minutes. Weak signal up close or Bluetooth drop-outs usually mean a damaged antenna or a wireless card issue.

  1. Test WiFi Connection

Connect to a WiFi network. Check signal strength indicator shows full bars when near router

  2. Test WiFi Speed

Run a speed test (fast.com or speedtest.net) and compare with expected speeds

  3. Test Bluetooth Pairing

System Settings > Bluetooth. Pair a device (headphones, mouse, keyboard)

  4. Test Bluetooth Stability

Use the paired device for a few minutes. Connection should be stable without dropouts

Note: Wireless specs vary by model year. Compare Wi-Fi and Bluetooth versions against the exact model's official tech specs if needed.
